CHRYSLER WIRING MODIFICATIONS

Code 3, Inc. has been notified by Chrysler that installation of aftermarket headlight flashers on Charger and Magnum police vehicles are prohibited for safety reasons. Chrysler believes that modification to the wiring would be detrimental to the normal operation of the vehicle's control system, causing damage to the control modules and improper recording of error codes.

The following quote is from Chrysler's 2006 Upfitters Manual, page 18:
"CAUTION: Use only the approved power, ground, or signal sources as described in this manual. Splicing, cutting, or altering the vehicle circuits is not permitted."
